Project overview

Nightingale Electrical recently completed a state-of-the-art solar PV system installation for Glen. This project showcases our commitment to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions that significantly reduce reliance on grid electricity and provide substantial long-term energy savings for our clients.

The heart of the installation consists of 14 Jinko Tiger Neo 54c 420W N-Type All Black Mono solar panels, expertly mounted on the concrete tiled roof using a Renusol mounting system. These panels are arranged in two strings and are projected to generate approximately 5,007 kWh of electricity annually, dramatically reducing the property's carbon footprint.

To maximise the system's efficiency and self-consumption, we integrated a SolaX X1 G4 5.0D hybrid inverter along with a SolaX Triple 5.8 kWh LFP battery storage system. This combination allows the homeowner to store excess energy generated during the day for use during evening hours or cloudy days, further reducing dependence on the grid.

Our detailed analysis predicts that 61% of the generated power will be consumed on-site, with the remaining 39% exported to the grid. Over the projected 25-year lifespan of the system, it is expected to generate a total of 117,650 kWh, with 86,811 kWh consumed on-site and 30,839 kWh exported. This level of self-consumption significantly enhances the economic benefits for the homeowner.

The financial projections for this installation are particularly impressive. With an initial investment of £11,639.81, the system is expected to pay for itself in just 7 years. Over its 25-year lifespan, the net present value of the project is calculated at £22,215.38, demonstrating an excellent return on investment for our client.

This case study exemplifies Nightingale Electrical's expertise in designing and implementing tailored renewable energy solutions. By combining cutting-edge technology with our professional installation services, we've delivered a system that not only meets our client's current energy needs but also provides a sustainable and financially beneficial solution for decades to come.
