Michael's home

For Michael's Newport home, we installed a 10.08 kW solar PV system that included 19 high-efficiency Trina 425W Solar Panels. These sleek and powerful panels were mounted on two sides of the roof, paired with a SolarEdge 8,000 HD Wave inverter. To maximize energy use and storage, we also installed two 10kWh SolarEdge Home Batteries, providing a total usable capacity of 18 kWh.

This setup is designed to capture the abundant energy that flows even on a typical Welsh day, ensuring Michael's home is not only energy efficient but also contributing positively to the environment. The system is expected to generate around 8,271 kWh of electricity annually, which translates into significant savings and a reduction in reliance on grid power.

We are pleased to say that the installation went smoothly, with all components working together seamlessly to deliver optimal performance. While solar panels may not be able to control the weather, they certainly make the most of every ray of sunlight, proving that a little bit of planning goes a long way in achieving energy independence.
